Hello, Everyone! This is Kirsten's second oldest daughter Lauren. My mom is at the hospital, and asked me to update :)

Zoe Nichole, 7 pounds 9 ounces (momma's biggest baby), was born today, March 31, 2009, at 2:08pm.

39 week appt update!

I am currently 3cm dilated and 50% effaced. Doctor seems to think she is around 7.5 pounds right now. I am being induced on Tuesday at 4am for medical reasons. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Will I make it to Tuesday? I dunno, LOL. I am so exhausted. I just hope I can get everything done this weekend. Carpets are being steamed, house is being disinfected, co-sleeper is being set up. I think we are good to go!

Ok, tomorrow is my 39 week appointment and I am scheduled to be induced on Tuesday (March 31st) at 4am. I am a carrier for Group B Strep so I need to get antibiotics four hours before delivery. I am so horribly nervous and hoping I go into labor before this. The only problem is with my third child, from the time I reached the hospital and the time I delivered was only 40 minutes, and as much as I would love a quick and easy labor, I actually need the four hours for the health of sweet Zoe. I am going to talk to the doctor about pain management options because I am just no hero. I don't have a very high tolerance for pain.

Last Friday, I was dilated 2cm, I had my bloody show over the weekend and was really hoping I would have delivered by now! Maybe tomorrow I will have more progress!

I have been plagued with migraines. On Monday I went to Labor and Delivery where they gave me stadol for the pain. Unfortunately it took me two days to get over the yucky effects from the stadol so I am hesitant to take it during labor, but I am sure "in pain Kirsten" might be desperate.

I could use all the prayers I can get!

Feeling Miserable

I'm in the home stretch and I am feeling just miserable! My whole body hurts! My ribs feel like they will crack open any day now. I haven't slept in weeks. I am so exhausted. I look forward to being up half the night with Zoe! I don't mind the waking up, it's the pain in my ribs and spine that are unbearable. I have a slight scoliosis in my upper spine and even when I am not pregnant, I have issues, so you can imagine the misery I am in.

Ok, enough whining, I just had to vent, LOL

It will all be worth it!

My oldest daughter just made the Deans List!

Christina is the oldest of my soon to be five daughters. She just forwarded me an email letting me know that she made the Deans List with a GPA of 4.0. She just completed her first semester at the University of Memphis and I am so very very proud of her.

Welcome to my Blog! This is my first blog, so please be patient with me!

My name is Kirsten and I am the designer/seamstress/owner of olibeli and coming soon, zoebebe, an infant division of olibeli.

As of today, I am 30 weeks and one day pregnant with my fifth baby girl, Zoe. I haven't been very active on Ebay or designing at all since I was 6 weeks pregnant due to a very difficult pregnancy.

I haven't decided where this will all go once the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act goes into effect on February 10th, 2009!

I am hoping there will be more clarification as to how this will affect custom children's clothing makers.

I will be participating in the "Boutique Felony" Launch on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 on Ebay.
